This page explains what information darkplate.studio collects when you visit, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Plain language; no surprises.
Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect what you submit — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you reach out to book a session, we may also keep any details you share about the session.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this one logs basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. We use this for security (rate-limiting form submissions to prevent spam) and to understand how the site is used.
Cookies. The site sets a small number of cookies for basic functionality (e.g. remembering whether you’ve seen the newsletter signup overlay this session) and, if you log in to the WordPress admin, for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We don’t sell your information. We don’t share it with marketers. The only third parties that may handle your data are the service providers we use to run the site:
If we’re ever required to disclose your information by law, we will.
Form submissions are kept in our inbox for as long as we need to respond and follow up. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Server access logs are typically kept for 30 days for security purposes.
